Shaun Wargowsky has lived and performed as a bassist in the Pacific Northwest, New Orleans, the San Francisco Bay Area, and Cleveland. He has played with Seattle World Soul band Mela Mela, La Misa Negra (Oakland, Cumbia and Afro-Latin), La Pena Latin Jazz Ensemble (Berkeley, Traditional Latin Dance Music), Kent State University African Ensemble (Kent Ohio, Palm Wine and High Life Music of West Africa), Sleepboy Moe (Oakland, Alternative), and Bay Area Hip Hop and Soul Collective Tripknight. He was a DJ for 3 years with Oakland’s 9th Floor Radio and the Music Curator at the Kent State University Music Listening Center.
